This photo shows symbolic meaning with colors. Mostly by using blue, which goes well with this photo. This photo is used to stand for the hand of God and also shows protection. That goes well with blue because blue symbolizes protection and calmness.

It proximity by grouping. It has repetition with the colors. The color goes throughout the piece making it unified. Especially since they use a repetition of the same colors throughout the picture.

Positive/Negative Space

This image is from www.shutterstock.com I found it in Graphic Design USA November 2011 Issue I think this photo shows both negative and positive space very well. It goes from a lighter shade in the top right corner and becomes darker throughout the picture. But it also shows light in the spots that are shadowed by the dark.
